PT Fircroft Indonesia is currently recruiting a number of technical engineers, technologists as well as support staff for the oil and gas sector. Our client is an international oil and gas exploration and operating company with significant interests in Indonesia.

We are now searching for the following position:

MARINE QA QC
(Office based)

Education and Experience:
• Marine Academy – Deck or Engine Officer (ANT III).
• Proven experience in Marine supervision and coordination is essential with at least 5 years in oil and gas operations.
• Maximum Age 35 years old.

Basic purposes and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate marine vessel operation in all Company offshore and onshore contracted area and ensure all oil and gas equipment are transported in safely, timely, cost effective and efficient manner.

Job Description:
• Supervise equipment movement and make sure all vessel movement are conducted accordingly based on schedule and reviewed periodically to ensure the most cost effective and best utilization possible made.
• Ensure coordination with piers, users department, vessel owner & cargo handling work to ensure all out-bound, in-bound of transit material, equipment are line up with no disruption and in line with Company and industry standard.
• Ensure the requirement of all Company service contractor and other related department for all sea freight, anchor handling tug supply vessel, LCT, crew boat, barges and ensure such vessels are in compliance with Company and industry standard and provide technical assistance in the design of all Company vessel contracts.
• Ensure pre-loading inspection to all Loose Lifting Equipment (LLE) and Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) deliver at quayside are proper with all valid certification and color coding.
• Conduct periodic schedule of all Company contracted vessel quality and safety audit and compile and record all Company contracted vessel documentations.
• Control all Company contracted vessels ON and OFF HIRE certificates to ensure no discrepancies in the invoices settlement & Distribute to all Company contracted vessels and distribute to all Company contracted vessels of Company marine procedure and make sure such procedure is current and valid.
• Ensure all vessels fuel and other consumable items utilization and alert vessel master for any consumable inventory discrepancies & of daily consumable vessels to ensure the correctness of the report & collect data and draft report of all related marine activities and for monthly report to BPMIGAS.
• Provide report of daily consumable vessels and all related marine monthly report to BPMIGAS.
• Provide periodic schedule of all related Company quayside inspection and recertification in order to have the quayside operating with valid operating permit.
• Lead the team member and regularly conduct appraise of individual and include team performance and provide improvement or recommendation to superior for required development.
• Maintain internal contact with other related government officials & Maintain external contact with related contractor and other PSC specifically operates in the same areas with Company.
• Perform non-routine tasks and attend meetings as directed by Supervisor Freight Forwarding or opportunity present in order to meet with Company objective.

o Knowledge in harbour management.
o Knowledge in marine & aviation transportation system.
o Knowledge in special marine port, shipping operation, contractual & adm.
